Terms of Service

Welcome to Wine Country Catering & Events!
Our staff is here to assist you every step of the way to ensure your event is a success. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to us.

Reservations
We do not hold dates. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. A signed contract and deposit are required to secure your event date. Once you receive a formal proposal, we recommend booking promptly to ensure your date is reserved.

 

Contracts Wine Country Catering cannot provide service without a signed contract and deposit. Please review your contract in its entirety before signing.

Bar Services
When contracting Wine Country Catering for bar services: Under our liquor license and insurance policy, our staff must facilitate the service of all alcoholic beverages.

Service Fee
Catered Events: An 18% service charge will apply.
Full-Service Events: A 25% service charge will apply.
These fees will be reflected in your contract.

Final Payments
The final bill is due upon the completion of the event. A late charge of 25% of the total bill will be assessed for every 3 business days the payment remains unpaid.

Substitutions
In the case of product shortages or availability issues, Wine Country Catering reserves the right to substitute food items.

Force Majeure
Wine Country Catering is not liable for any delays or failures in performance caused by acts of nature or other causes beyond our control.

Travel Fees
For events outside our normal service area: Mileage Fee: $2 per mile.
Travel Time Fee: $20 per hour, per staff member.

Payment Policies
Credit Card Payments: A 3% processing fee will be applied.
Checks: All checks must be made payable to Wine Country Catering.

Rentals Please note that we only provide rentals as part of our full-service packages. Our serving staff will facilitate the setup and clearing of dinnerware, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day of your event. A setup and delivery fee's may apply.

Guest Counts
Final guest counts are required 14 days before the event date.
Your bill will be based on this final count.
If your guest count decreases after the 14-day deadline, you are still responsible for the original quoted price.
If your guest count increases, your bill will reflect the actual number of meals served, plus a 25% charge for additional meals.

On-Site Consultation Fee
A non-refundable fee of $119 will be charged for an on-site venue or private residence meeting to assess logistics, layout, and necessary event planning. This fee covers staff time for pre-event planning and coordination.

Cancellations
Notification Required: Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the event to avoid full payment.
Cancellation Fee: A $550 fee will apply for cancellations made after booking.
